Community Involvement

The Potts Law Firm strongly believes in giving back to the community it serves. Listed below are some of the organizations that the Potts Law Firm supports through financial donations and volunteerism.

Harvesters-The Community Food Network
In 2010 The Potts Law Firm contributed to the “30 Ways in 30 Days” Campaign for Harvesters. Beginning with taking a Hunger Action Pledge, we also  contributed to backpacks for children in the community. One backpack provides healthy food for a child for the full school year. The Potts Law Firm has provided financial support to Harvesters since 2007 beginning with their Forks and Corks fundraising event. In past years, the proceeds raised from Forks and Corks have helped to provide over 1 million meals to those in need in the Kansas City community. For every dollar donated, five meals are provided to those in need in the community. For more information about Harvesters and how to get involved, please view: www.harvesters.org

Proceeds from the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury benefit the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City: www.biaks.org. They in turn, provide critical funding for prevention programming as well as information and direct support for individuals and their loved ones who face the ongoing trauma of brain injury. Since its inception the run has raised more than 1.5 million to help those with brain injuries. http://www.amythompsonrun.org/
