Hans van Zanten is a Partner with the Potts Law Firm, LLP where he practices primarily in the areas of plaintiffs’ mass torts and medical malpractice. Hans is integrally involved in the firm’s international product liability practice involving medical devices and science which originate in Europe. Hans grew up in the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch. He has been essential in communicating with and contacting European medical experts. Hans has tried cases in Missouri and Kansas and has argued cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association — Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. He has been nationally and locally recognized in the Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers^® listing as a Rising Star^® for 2010 and 2011.
