Olathe, Kansas, a western suburb of Kansas City, Missouri, is in northeastern Kansas, just south of Lenexa. Olathe, KS, is located very near the geographical center of Johnson County, and is the county seat. Olathe is the second largest among the 21 communities in Johnson County.
