Patricia L. Campbell graduated cum laude in 2004 with a B.J. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, a top-ranked journalism school and then from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2008, where she was a member of the UMKC National Moot Court Team and received the Top Oralist Award in 2006.
She joined The Potts Law Firm in May 2007 as a law clerk and became an associate with the firm upon graduation. She recently participated in the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court program as a Barrister.
Ms. Campbell practices in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, product liability, class actions and appeals, including involvement in a successful appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court. She has also been part of a trial team and has assisted in trying a national mass tort bellwether case related to Kugel Mesh Hernia Patches.
She was co-author of the 2009 chapter supplement on wrongful death in the Missouri Bar’s Litigation Settlements deskbook. She also co-authored the new Nursing Home Residents’ Rights chapter for the Missouri Bar’s Elder Law deskbook.
Patricia Campbell is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Association of Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
