Zoloft Lawsuit

Zoloft also known as Sertraline, is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant that prescribed for the treatment of depression, social anxiety conditions, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Women who took antidepressant drugs like Zoloft during pregnancy may be at an increased risk of their baby developing severe birth defects. These side effects may include heart defects, lung defects, neural tube defects, abdominal and intestinal defects and malformations.

  • Pulmonary Stenosis
  • Infant omphalocele (abdominal wall defects)
  • Neural-tube defects (brain and spinal cord)
  • Pulmonary (lung) defects
